A public consultation for the new West and East Greenwich Neighbourhood Management scheme has been launched by the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Released yesterday, the scheme follows the disbandment of the borough's failed Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN) scheme in 2021, rolled out across West Greenwich in 2020 by way of an Experimental Traffic Order (ETO).
The LTN saw countless objections ignored by the council, displaced traffic to already-gridlocked boundary roads, as well as numerous complaints by emergency services owing to severe delays.
